Amy learns a lesson...

I'm almost 35 fucking years old... you would actually think this is something I would have learned by now.

A few months ago when the whole cat drama happened, my emotions got the better of me and I decided to make a donation to the ASPCA.

I have since discovered that while the ASPCA may care a lot about animal welfare, they don't give a shit about the environment.

I get junk mail from organizations that they have no doubt sold my information to on an almost daily basis.

Today I received something from the IFAW, or the International Fund for Animal Welfare (yeah, I've never heard of them either). Included in the letter that was addressed "Dear Friend" were these TOTALLY AWESOME greeting cards. If you're lucky enough, I may just send one to YOU.

By the way, no one ever accused me of being a good photographer....

This one below is my favorite

If you want to get creative, make up your own "greeting" just for fun!!

I do a lot of work for animals by transporting them over a thousand miles each month to 'no-kill' shelters in the north. I move animals around the state for better opportunities for adoption. But I WILL NEVER give a cent to ASPCA. They are all talk, but look at their euthanasia rate and attitudes. They are wacko fanatics and I simply cannot take them serious. But your heart was in the right place. You can REALLY make it in the right place by sending the donations to me. I accept cash and checks in any big money combinations – preferably fifties and hundreds.

I agree with the ASPCA crap. I got a mailing for an offer to "buy into" Rhino horn pyramid game. I lost $1000!...OK ..I didn't, but I bet someone did.

My Dad always had a drawer full of crappy cards from random charities and organizations. He would always forget to get cards for people or wait until the last minute and end up giving out some of those. My favorite was when he gave my brother a card on his birthday with "Get Well Soon" crossed out and he wrote "Happy Birthday" underneath.

Oh, yea! You've told us about the '35 fucking years.' How many celibate years? How many ‘I have a headache’ years? And how many ‘you don’t like the supper, well maybe you will like your own hand tonight’?

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHA

I'm laughing too hard to even comment.

Those are some shitty ass cards. Which reminds me, I just got a card for my birthday from my grandma, and I swear to god she must think I am seven. I gotta scan that beauty.

You've been blogrolled, lovely! ;)
